100% organic
Farasi Lane Farm is a fully organic, sustainable farm. Our vegetables are grown in soil that we carefully nurture and upgrade through composting and crop rotation, using absolutely no chemical fertilizers.
We use water carefully and efficiently, mainly using drip irrigation to ensure that water goes directly into the plants’ root zone.
The limited pesticides that we use are organically certified, and because they come from naturally occurring products, such as neem oil, they leave no pesticide residue on the crop.
We have also actively left wild zones across the farm so as to support biodiversity and attract beneficial insects and birds.

Better and healthier
Click here to read a quick piece in National Geographic on why organic food is better for you and tastes better too.
“Organic fruits, vegetables, and grains have several measureable nutritional benefits over conventional crops, according to a study published in the British Journal of Nutrition British Journal of Nutrition”
“…organics contain 18 to 69 percent higher concentrations of antioxidants. Translation: the organic eater consumes the antioxidant equivalent of approximately two extra produce portions every day, without altering food intake”
Come by sometime
We are not yet fully set-up to manage regular farm visits, but we are totally open to having occasional small groups come by the farm to see what we do and how we do it.
If you are interested in learning more about organic farming, and specifically how we do it at Farasi Lane Farm, please send us an email and we can take things forward from there.
